COLUMBUS, OH - Todd Haines has been named manager of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) District Five Wildlife Office in Xenia. He fills a vacancy created by the promotion of Dave Graham to assistant chief of ODNRs Division of Wildlife.
In his new position as one of the Division of Wildlife's five district managers, Haines will oversee fish management, information and education, wildlife management, law enforcement, and field operations for the 17-county region of southwest Ohio.
Haines, 38, joined the ODNR Division of Wildlife in 1987 as a wildlife area technician at Magee Marsh State Wildlife Area in Ottawa County. In October 1993, he was promoted to wildlife management supervisor for southwestern Ohio. Haines is a 1986 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in wildlife management.
Haines and his wife, Nichole, reside near Wilmington, with their two children, Kameron and Noah.
