COLUMBUS, OH – An employee at Dillon State Park in Muskingum County was recently recognized with the Ohio State Parks first-ever “Cutting Edge Award” for his innovation and ingenuity for providing modern, low-maintenance signage to all 74 state parks.

Honored with the award was Brian Kearton of Glenford, who oversees the park’s graphics shop. In 2003, he began producing custom-vinyl signage for trail systems, buildings, bulletin boards, and information boxes.

Ohio’s state park system includes nine resort lodges, more than 500 cottages and 56 family campgrounds with more than 9,000 campsites. For additional information visit the ohiodnr.com website.
