COLUMBUS, OH - Visitors to Ohio State Parks are encouraged to “Get Fit Naturally” at a series of 10 upcoming events designed to improve physical conditioning and stamina.
The “Get Fit Naturally” program allows visitors to participate in a variety of fitness activities, including hiking, biking, walking and running, while enjoying some of Ohio’s most beautiful natural scenery. Each of the 10 events is being hosted by a local mountain bike club and will offer organized activities for people of all ages.
The first event, sponsored by Spokejunkies, is scheduled for Lake Hope State Park in Vinton County at noon on Saturday, April 30. Participants will bike, walk or run on park trails as part of organized competitions for various age groups.
