SPECIAL ARCHERY SEASON HUNT TO BE HELD
AT GOLL WOODS STATE NATURE PRESERVE
ARCHBOLD, OH -- A lottery drawing for a special archery season deer hunt at Goll Woods State Nature Preserve in Fulton County will be held October 2, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). The deadline to apply for the special hunt is September 29.
Seventy-two individuals will be selected for the November 1 through January 31 hunt. Each hunter drawn will have an assigned two-week hunting period.
Applicants should submit a postcard, with their name, address and telephone number, along with the caption "Goll Woods Hunt" on a postcard or 3-by-5 index card to the ODNR Division of Natural Areas & Preserves, 26093 County Road F, Archbold, OH 43502.
Only one entry will be accepted per individual or hunter-pair. Applications will be accepted by mail only and must be received no later than September 29. Successful applicants will be notified by mail and will be expected to attend a pre-hunt orientation on October 28.
All ODNR Division of Wildlife regulations apply for this hunt. In addition, urban deer zone permits can be used for this hunt.
