COLUMBUS, OH - Scott Hale has been named biology supervisor for
the Inland Fisheries Research Unit of the Ohio Department of Natural
Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
In his new position, Hale will supervise a staff of six
employees who conduct fisheries research and management activities
statewide.
The Inland Fisheries Research Unit was developed in 1995 to
assist state fisheries staff in research and management activities while
facilitating cooperative research activities with universities.
Hale, 42, joined the ODNR Division of Wildlife in 1995 as a
fisheries biologist at the Inland Fisheries Research Station in Hebron.
Before joining the ODNR Division of Wildlife, Hale worked for the
Kentucky Department of Natural Resources as an assistant district
fisheries biologist for two years and a fisheries research biologist for
eight years. He received his bachelors degree from The Ohio State
University, a masters degree in biology from Murray State University,
and an MBA from Capital University in Columbus.
Hale resides in Granville, Licking County.
