COLUMBUS, OH -- Paul Baldridge, deputy chief of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Recycling & Litter Prevention, was recently elected president of the National Recycling Coalition's Board of Directors.
The National Recycling Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and improvement of recycling, source reduction, composting and reuse. The organization, which has more than 5,500 members representing public, private and non-profit businesses and organizations, annually hosts the country's largest recycling conference and exposition. Baldridge will lead a 15-member board that helps determine the future direction and initiatives of the national organization.
A 23-year veteran of ODNR, Baldridge has also served on the Great Lakes Recycling Commission and is a founding member of the Mid-America Council of Recycling Officials. Baldridge and his wife, Sandy, live in Lewis Center and are the parents of two sons, Eric and Philip.
