RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH OHIO STATE PARKS
Take advantage of one and two-night packages at state park resort lodges
COLUMBUS, OH - Whether you’re looking to toast with champagne and dance away the night with friends, or spend an evening with family this New Year’s Eve, Ohio State Parks nine resort lodges offer a variety of one- and two-night packages that include accommodations, meals and entertainment.
Burr Oak Resort and Conference Center, in Morgan County, offers one- and two-night packages featuring a New Year’s Eve dance with live music, champagne toast, snacks and party favors. One-night packages are $175 per couple in a standard room or $195 in a studio. Two-night packages are $250 per couple in a standard room and $285 in a studio.
Deer Creek Resort and Conference Center, in Fayette and Pickaway counties, has a two-night package in a double room for $365 plus tax, December 31 arrivals only. The package includes dinner for two on New Year’s Eve followed by a party in the ballroom from 9 p.m. to midnight. Other festivities include a children’s New Year’s Eve party from 7 p.m. to midnight, a family toast in the ballroom at midnight, a New Year’s Day breakfast buffet, and a late check out on January 2. Upgraded rooms are available for an additional fee.
Hueston Woods Resort and Conference Center, in Butler and Preble counties, offers a variety of packages ranging from $218 per couple for a double room to $345 per couple for a hospitality suite. Packages include one night of lodging, dinner buffet for two, breakfast buffet for two, a dance with DJ on New Year’s Eve, a children’s party and a $25 gift shop certificate. Taxes are included.
Maumee Bay Resort and Conference Center, in Lucas County, offers a two-night package for $450 per couple for a double room, $530 per couple for a king room and, $550 per couple in a hospitality or loft room. Packages include dinner buffet for two, one brunch buffet for two, a New Year’s Eve dance, children’s activities, and a $20 gift shop certificate. All taxes are included. Additional rooms are $198 each.
The Lodge and Conference Center at Geneva State Park, in Ashtabula County, invites guests to enjoy a New Year’s Eve Gala Package featuring a party, dinner for two, entertainment by Guys Without Ties, open bar, and champagne. The package also includes overnight stay and breakfast for two adults. Room rates start at $350 for a standard courtyard or lake view room, $360 for family rooms, or $370 for a suite (tax not included). For an additional $59, guests can extend their stay for a second night on Thursday, Dec. 30 or Saturday, Jan. 1.
Mohican Resort and Conference Center, in Ashland and Richland counties, offers a New Year’s Eve Package for two nights for $315 per couple in a double room, $345 per couple in a queen room and $375 per couple in a king room. Packages include a dinner buffet for two, a New Year’s Eve party in the ballroom, New Year’s Day brunch buffet for two, and all taxes.
Punderson Manor Resort and Conference Center, in Geauga County, offers a two-night package this New Year’s Eve. Packages range from $200 per person for a double or queen room to $300 per person for a hospitality suite, plus $82 for each additional adult in any room. Packages include New Year’s Eve dinner buffet for two, a dance with DJ, champagne toast and party favors, cash bar, New Year’s Day brunch for two and all taxes.
Salt Fork Resort and Conference Center, in Guernsey County, offers a one-night package for $279 per family in a double room, $299 per family in a room with a bunk bed, $299 per couple in a king room, and $309 per couple in a hospitality room. Packages include dinner for two, one breakfast for two, children’s activities, DJ in the lounge, a family party, a gift shop certificate and all taxes.
Shawnee Resort and Conference Center, in Scioto County, offers two-night packages ranging from $375 per couple in a double or a room with a bunk bed, to $550 per couple in a Jacuzzi cottage. Packages include dinner for two, a New Year’s Eve dance, one breakfast for two, a $25 gift shop certificate and all taxes.
