ERVIN NAMED NEW COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
FOR ODNR DIVISION OF WILDLIFE

COLUMBUS, OH - Vicki Ervin, a 16-year veteran with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), has been named communications manager for the Division of Wildlife. She replaces Vicki Mountz who was promoted to executive administrator of wildlife information and education programs.

In her new job, Ervin will manage the division’s communications efforts, including media relations, production of the Wild Ohio television show and Wild Ohio Magazine as well as coordinate statewide wildlife displays at outdoor events.

Ervin started with the ODNR in 1983. Since 1997, she has served as information specialist for wildlife information and education at the Wildlife District One Office in Columbus. She is a native of Knox County and a graduate of Centerburg High School. She earned a Bachelors degree in photography from The Ohio State University. She resides outside of Centerburg with her husband Mark and their family.
