CLEVELAND, OH The Ohio Waterways Safety Council will hold its quarterly meeting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 20, at the I-X Center in Cleveland as part of the annual Cleveland Boat Show. The I-X Center is located in Brook Park, adjacent to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by the governor, provides input on boating issues to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft.
The meeting is open to the public. Council members will be briefed by Division of Watercraft staff members on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio. Persons interested in attending the council meeting should contact Tammy Terry at 614-265-6476.
