COLUMBUS, OH – Jane Beathard recently joined the media relations staff of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) as a public information officer and agency spokesperson. Formerly, Beathard was a public information specialist in the Public Response Center of the Ohio Department of Health for four years.

Beathard is a veteran of the central Ohio news scene, having previously served as media coordinator for the Franciscan Health System of Central Ohio (Saint Anthony Medical Center) and the Ohio Credit Union League. She is a London resident.

A 1987 graduate of The Ohio State University and a 1969 graduate of Ohio Dominican College, Beathard holds a master’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in English and history.

ODNR is one of the largest, most diverse agencies in state government, with facilities and services in every one of Ohio’s 88 counties.
