Public Hearing on Proposed Revisions for State Park Regulations to be Held July 10 in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will conduct a public meeting Thursday, July 10 at its Columbus headquarters to discuss proposed revisions to some of the operational rules pertaining to Ohio's state parks. Such meetings are held each year by ODNR's Division of Parks and Recreation to review and approve changes in state park rules and regulations.
Included in proposed revisions this year are changes in rules to take effect this fall regarding operational policies for campground visitor and car passes, special activity fees and state park areas open to hunting.
The public hearing will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the ODNR Assembly Center, 1939 Fountain Square Court, Building E-1, in Columbus. Interested persons may testify during the hearing or submit written comments in advance. Copies of the proposed rules are available from the Division of Parks and Recreation, 1952 Belcher Drive, Building C-3, Columbus, Ohio 43224-1386.
