"FANTASY OF LIGHTS" NOW ON DISPLAY AT ALUM CREEK STATE PARK
DELAWARE, OH - More than 1 million holiday lights illuminate the night for the seventh annual "Fantasy of Lights" display at Alum Creek State Park in Delaware County. The event runs through December 30.
The two-mile, drive-through extravaganza features 125 light displays, including many with animation.
Visitors may begin their tour at the Alum Creek Marina, which has been transformed into a holiday gift shop for the season. Santa will be on hand until December 24 to take holiday gift requests and pose for pictures with youngsters. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be served. The marina is accessible from Hollenback Road, off South Old State Road.
Display hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The cost to view the display is $10 per vehicle Monday through Thursday and $15 per vehicle Friday through Sunday. Prices increase for commercial vehicles and motor homes. Discount coupons are available at local Kroger stores.
A portion of the "Fantasy of Lights" admission cost and the $5 fee for pictures with Santa benefit Recreation Unlimited.
