COLUMBUS, OH - Spending a weekday or weekend relaxing by the fireplace at a cozy Ohio State Parks cottage has gotten even more affordable this fall and winter. Enjoy discounts on cottage rates starting as soon as October 31, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
“These discounted cottage rates make a getaway to an Ohio State Park even more attractive,” said Dan West, chief of Ohio State Parks. “A state park cottage is a great way to enjoy Ohio’s seasonal beauty and the variety of activities our state parks have to offer.”
Each heated and carpeted family cottage is a complete home away from home. All feature two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens with microwaves, baths with showers, and living rooms with televisions and sleep sofas. Dishes, cookware, utensils and linens are provided. Many locations also offer gas-log fireplaces and cable television, and a few cottages feature hot tubs.
