FALL COLOR FESTIVAL TO BE HELD OCTOBER 16-17 AT
HOCKING STATE FOREST AND CONKLES HOLLOW STATE NATURE PRESERVE
ROCKBRIDGE, OH -- The annual Fall Color Festival at Hocking State Forest and Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve, October 16-17, will provide Ohioans with the opportunity to see fall color at its peak in one of Ohio’s most scenic areas.
The fall event, sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), will feature the popular Rim Trail Hike at Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve. The Division of Forestry will offer several programs at the nearby Hocking State Forest headquarters, including hay rides, tree identification hikes, and forest management displays. A bean soup dinner is available each day.
