COLUMBUS, OH -- The Muskingum River Parkway Lock Number 6, located at the Village of Stockport, will close for the season, effective Monday, September 23.
All other locks on the Muskingum River Parkway will continue to operate on Saturdays and Sundays through October 13.
Lock Number 6 is closing three weeks earlier than previously scheduled so that contractors can begin repairs on a low-head dam immediately adjacent to the lock. Because the work area is confined, the parking lots and boat ramp at Stockport will also be closed during this repair project.
