Wear It Ohio! 2009 Campaign

The “Wear It Ohio!” Campaign will cruise three state park lake locations in Ohio from May 23 through July 19 to deliver YOU good times and fun in the sun while wearing a life jacket!

Visit our Wear It Ohio! tent to spin the prize wheel. If you answer a boating safety question correctly, you get a prize!

You may also have the opportunity to take part in our inflatable lifejacket loaner program (while supplies last). You can sign up at the event or bring this Pledge Card with you.

Buck Creek State Park

Caesar Creek State Park

Each event will have a life jacket try-on rack with various types of PFDs and a throw bag rescue toss. Vessel safety inspections will be offered. Partnering groups are the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary 18-6 and the Ohio Naval Militia.

July 19, Demo Day on the Beach Noon-5pm; Try out different types of powerboats, PWC, canoes and kayaks. Pontoon boat rides also available.
