Each of Ohio's state parks offers facilities for picnicking, in scenic picnic areas.

The picnic areas offer picnic tables and grills, and most also provide drinking water and restroom facilities or latrines.

Many picnic areas have one or more shelter houses. Most can be reserved for a fee, and are available on first-come first-served basis when they are not reserved.
