The Division of Parks and Recreation has many public service facilities throughout the state parks commonly referred to as "concession operations". Several of these are operated by the private sector, and offer business opportunities for individuals, corporations, and other business entities.
State park lodges, marinas, boat rentals, and refreshment stands are just an example of the types of facilities available for private operation.The rights to operate these facilities are granted through the competitive bid process in accordance with state law.
