General
The Ohio Department of Natural Resourcesí Division of Recycling & Litter Prevention is responsible for statewide waste reduction, recycling, recycled-content product procurement and litter prevention programs. Because of this responsibility, it is important the ODNR adheres to high standards in its own operations to serve as a role model for government, businesses and citizens of Ohio.

Further, and whenever possible, the phrase, "Printed on recycled-content paper" shall be added in an appropriate size and location to all printed materials. Exceptions to this policy will only be granted by written permission of the Director.
- Divisions/Offices shall purchase and use recycled-content products and materials when such products are available, meet quality and performance standards, and are cost effective.[1]
- Divisions/Offices shall correctly code all recycled-content product purchases into the stateís Central Accounting System. This coding information is provided to DRLP to be analyzed and reported annually to the governor, the speaker of the house and the president of the senate as required by ORC 125.082.
