Sugar Maple Syrup Candy Recipe Print this page

Bottle of maple syrup
Candy thermometer
Candy mold tray
Saucepan

Instructions:
  1. With a supervising adult, cook maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 240 degrees on the candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool to 200 degrees.
  3. Stir consistently until syrup becomes sugary, lighter in color, thick, and creamy. (this will take about 5 minutes)
  4. Pour into candy molds.
  5. Once candy is finally cool, its okay to remove from molds and enjoy!
