Human impact can be a major contributor to the quality of soil and water. The factors that will be looked at in this investigation are farming, residential, and industrial regions that a selected river or stream passes through. Students will analyze water test results to determine if the water quality is acceptable to support aquatic life. Students will have the opportunity to investigate professional occupations in water quality management and gain science content knowledge to support the test results and interpretations.
