State Recreational Vehicle Fund Advisory Board
The State Recreational Vehicle Fund Advisory Board (SRVFAB) was created in 2010 in order to provide a voice for the motorized community and a partner in expansion efforts with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The SRVFAB advises the administration on how motorized registration dollars should be utilized and to work with the administration in determining expansion locations, trail layout, and necessary facilities. The SRVFAB will also be working to provide better opportunities for safety training and establishing friends groups in the areas of expansion.
One short-term goal and one long-term goal have been initially established by the SRVFAB. The short-term goal is to expand motorized trails on existing ODNR property where possible in which work could commence this year. The long-term goal is for the ODNR to acquire additional property that will allow for the trail construction that can address the needs of each of the APV groups including side by side and 4X4 vehicles.
