ODNR - Natural Resources Park at the Ohio State Fair

Amphitheater Performances

The park’s 500-seat amphitheater stage will provide the backdrop for a variety of acts from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.

This year’s entertainment includes the Great Lakes Lumberjack Show, Columbus Zoo animals, retriever dog demonstrations on the weekends, and musical and educational activities.

Not all the amazement is up on the stage: seating in this outdoor theater was constructed using more than 190,000 recycled plastic milk jugs.

The Lumberjack Show is a perennial State Fair favorite of kids and adults alike. Enjoy woodcarving and chopping contests, log rolling and other demonstrations of lumberjack fun. The lumberjacks perform three times daily.

And don’t forget to check out the sounds of the All-Ohio State Fair Band as they play their tunes in the ODNR Picnic Grove in the northeast quadrant of the Natural Resources Park.

The Natural Resources Amphitheater provides several amphitheater shows that spotlight native Ohio wildlife, such as owls, opossums, turkey vultures, turtles and snakes.
