Notes:
(1) A bypass is being constructed adjacent to the Kent Dam by removal of the adjacent retaining wall/sluice gate structures. This will allow the existing stone arch dam and associated crest to remain in-place with a new recirculating waterfall feature to be added during the Cuyahoga River Restoration Project (CRRP) construction (which began in Spring 2003).

(2) The main driver of this project was OEPA's Middle Cuyahoga River TMDL study which identified water quality and habitat problems.

10. Project Sponsor (who initiated project): City of Kent
