Digital Maps and Other Map Resources
- Ohio Boat Access Sites GIS - Explore Ohio's boating access sites using a GIS database-driven application. You zoom in to a location in Ohio and it draws a map that you can print out. Layers include boating access, county lines, roads, and more. You must "Allow pop-ups" for this application to work.
- Ohio Boating Access Facilities [KML; 680K] - For Google Earth users. [See more about "Using Google Earth," below.]

More On Using Google Earth
Google Earth is a web desktop application that allows you to "fly" the earth to a particular destination, get driving directions, and more. A free version is available for download at earth.google.com.
After Google Earth is installed on your computer, download the KML file above and save it to your hard drive. When you double-click the KML file on your hard drive, Google Earth will launch.
Under the "My Places" pane on the lefthand side of the screen, find "Ohio Boat Access Sites" in the "Temporary Places" folder. Drag "Ohio Boat Access Sites" to your "My Places" folder. This ensures that "Ohio Boat Access Sites" will appear anytime Google Earth is launched. |
