Wildlife District Two (Northwest Ohio)

11. Kendrick Woods
Directions: Located 0.5 mile north of State Route 81 on Defiance Trail, 4 miles northeast of Spencerville.

12. Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area

Directions: From Harpster, follow State Route 294 approximately 2 miles west.

13. Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Olivesburg, follow Olivesburg-Fitchville Road 6 miles north to the entrance.

14. Springville Marsh State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Carey, travel 3.5 miles north on U.S. Route 23 and State Route 199 to Township Road 24. Turn west and go 1 mile to the area entrance.

15. Lake La Su An Wildlife Area
Directions: From County Road 7 approximately 3 miles north from U.S. Route 20 in northwest Williams County, then 0.25 mile west on County Road R.

16. Maumee State Forest
Directions: From Whitehouse, the Forest Headquarters is located approximately 7 miles west on Henry County Road D.

17. Farnsworth Metro Park
Directions: From Toledo, follow Interstate 475 to U.S. Route 24 on the southwest edge of the city. Take U.S. Route 24 approximately 6 miles south to the Roche de Bout area of Farnsworth Metropark, just south of Waterville.

18. Oak Openings Preserve Metro Park
Directions: From Toledo, follow State Route 2 approximately 8 miles west to State Route 295. Turn south on State Route 295 and follow it just over 2 miles to Oak Openings Parkway.

19. Irwin Prairie State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Toledo, follow U.S. Route 20 west to State Route 295. Turn south on State Route 295 and follow it 1 mile to Bancroft Road. Turn east on Bancroft Road and go 3 miles to the entrance on the south side of the road.

20. Maumee Bay State Park
Directions: From Interstate 280 just east of Toledo, follow State Route 2 for 6 miles east to North Curtice Road and turn north. The park entrance is 3 miles ahead.

21. Mallard Club Marsh Wildlife Area
Directions: From Oregon, follow State Route 2 approximately 6 miles east to either Cousino Road or Decant Road. Follow either road north to the area.

22. Metzger Marsh Wildlife Area
Directions: From Toledo, follow State Route 2 approximately 13 miles east.

23. Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge/ Crane Creek
Directions: From Toledo, follow State Route 2 approximately 15 miles east to the refuge entrance on the north side of the road.

24. Magee Marsh Wildlife Area
Directions: From Port Clinton, follow State Route 2 west 17 miles to Crane Creek State Park and Magee Marsh Wildlife Area. The entrance is on the east side of Route 2.

25. Toussaint Wildlife Area
Directions: From Oak Harbor, follow State Route 19 north approximately 5 miles.

26. Little Portage Wildlife Area
Directions: From Port Clinton, follow State Route 53 south approximately 6 miles to Darr-Hopfinger Road. Take Darr-Hopfinger Road west approximately 2 miles to the area entrance.

27. Pickerel Creek Wildlife Area
Directions: Pickerel Creek is located 0.5 mile east of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 510 in Sandusky County.

28. Resthaven Wildlife Area
Directions: Immediately northwest of Castalia on State Route 269.

29. Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Huron, 1 mile west on U.S. Route 6. The entrance is on the north side of the road.

30. Old Woman Creek State Nature Preserve
Directions: From Huron, Follow U.S. Route 6 for 3 miles east.
